What We Are About:

WAISP’s primary function is that of a lobbying organization. We were formed to represent the interests of ISPs before the Washington State Legislature, the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, and the US Congress. We also represent ISP interests before local government bodies as needed, as well as act as a first contact with media representatives on issues dealing with ISPs.

Our primary goal is the preservation of consumer choice for Internet Service, We work to make sure the marketplace is competitive, and that every household has multiple ISPs to choose from for service based on their individual needs.

Our secondary goal is to provide a forum for our members to ensure their success and growth of their business through personal networking and a healthy business climate.
